This morning after a restful night on some comfy gymnastics mats, we got to sleep in until a nice and late, 6am. As an added treat we got to celebrate another Bike and Build birthday for fellow rider, Gillian! After fueling up with cake for breakfast we hit the open road and headed towards Circle, MT.
Today’s ride was a breeze compared to what we’ve been up against recently. An easy 48 miles on the flat, open road with little to no headwinds. The only thing we had to worry about was the weather creeping into the 90s but with such a short day it wasn’t too much of a concern because we would finish way before the heat got too bad.
We stopped halfway through in a small town called Lindsay, MT for lunch.
Today is round #2 of camping. Fingers crossed there is no rain this time. We set up tents in the Circle RV Park and had the rest of the day to hang out. Our MVP Stevie did it again and got us some donated food from a local grocery store that we cooked up for dinner. A hot day turned into a cooler night underneath the stars.
