Hallo from the Golden Triangle! Kelly here to report on a fast and breezy ride day.

I was truckin it with Nina today and we had a blast rolling out of Conrad to head along the route. A simple 53 miles was in store for our riders, and we scouted the route with delight to find it full of rolling hills and beautiful scenery. The lack of headwinds made it a zoomin ride for our squad, and we perched up for lunch around 30 miles in.

It was a wild experience to be able to see riders coming from miles away, and we welcomed them with joy to eat from our cooler to their heart’s content, looking out toward the mountains with the prairie at our backs.

Once we’d sent everyone on their way and packed up lunch, we rolled into Cut Bank, our destination for the day. We ran a couple of errands, picking up mail (thank you Brody for the snacks and Ryan for the new sleeping bag hookup!) and shopping for some groceries.

The riders got in super early today because of the short distance, and our generous hosts at St Margaret’s had laid out bountiful snacks. Some of the team went to check out the Cut Bank farmer’s market, and many (myself included) took some deeeeeeep naps. We enjoyed a generous and delicious dinner from our hosts, and then wound down for the night with our focus set on tomorrow - to Glacier we ride!

Yours in wheat,

Kelly
